Accomplishments in 2007

Childcare: we cared for 80-85 children on a daily basis. Ages from 3 months to 5 years old -51% from single parent families.
After school: we care for 35-40 children on a daily basis, Ages from Kindergarten to 5th grade– 50% from single parent families.
Single Parent Program: to help defray child care cost we awarded $62,961.00 in scholarships to 31 single parents.
89% of our expenses: directly supported the care and education of our children and families.
Christian Public Library: serves 350-400 families a year and has 22,000 volumes of books, videos, CD and DVD’s.

Mission Statement:

Empower single parents to reach financial and spiritual security by providing quality children's programs, education and life skills in a Christian environment, and to provide quality Christian resources and children's programs to the community at large.

Our Goal:

Christ Our Shepherd Ministries exists to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children of single and two parent households. All activities on Christ Our Shepherd campus focus on sharing the love, compassion and Word of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for the single parent and the community-at-large.
