Our
Mission
Christ
Our Shepherd, following Christ's example of love and compassion,
strives to:
° Provide quality, Christian-based children's programs
and education for all children, regardless of family structure;
° Empower, minister to and advocate for the unique
needs of single parents; and
° Provide educational resources to the community through
the COS Library.

Note: All volunteers need to submit and pass both
a background check and TB test before they are allowed to
volunteer for any program involving the children.

- Board of Directors: Passion for our Mission; Monthly Board Meetings;

Community Learning Lab:
(1 hour weekly) Volunteer to help students (grades
3-5) who are below reading, math and computer skill levels.

Development: The
Development Department needs regular volunteers to help
for research projects and social media.

Single Parent Program:
- Spring and Fall - Single parents are required
to attend a six week session, we are in need of:
Speakers and Workshop Facilitators (one week commitment).
Groups and/or individuals to commit to providing meals
for one week. (30 adults & 30 children.) .
- New 2012 "Hands Up" Program -
Our single parents need both financial and/or mentor assistance.
This program provides you the opportunity to become a
mentor to the family you are helping. This program is
open to individuals, couples, and groups.
